Financial Planning Financial PlanningAs financial fiduciaries of your assets, your best interest is at the heart of every financial planning recommendation we make to our valued clients. Our financial planning process allows clients to receive a tailored financial strategy to prepare for the road ahead. This process includes five primary steps.Discovery : We work with you to develop a comprehensive understanding of where you are today in your financial journey. This includes a complete “balance sheet” analysis of your assets, liabilities, and expected cash flows over the short and long term. This critical step functions as the foundation of your formal plan.Goal Setting : Once we understand where you are today, we need to understand where you would like to be both next year and in the coming decades. All of our client’s goals are a little bit different, and we understand and strive to work with clients across the goal spectrum to plan accordingly.Understanding Risk Tolerances : Just like financial goals, our client’s tolerance for market risk is unique. In many ways, financial planning is more about managing risk than it is about generating excess market return. We work with you and your family to build a customized financial plan which is driven by the balance of your tolerance for market risk and portfolio performance.Plan Execution : Once we have developed a financial plan, our team is here to execute this plan on your behalf. We can help consolidate existing accounts, or create new accounts which are tailored to your work with Vaughn Asset Advisory.Review and Refinement : Once a financial plan is up and running, our contribution to your financial success does not end. We monitor your progress daily, and are here to make adjustments as new risks appear on the horizon. We speak with clients between 12 and 15 times each year, and hold quarterly face-to-face meetings to ensure you are comfortable with your plans progress.
